Salary scale: Chilypep Scale 22: (£28,936.93) to Scale 24: (£30,646.73) as of 01/04/2023. Pro Rata.

Hours of work: 30 Hours per week. 37 FTE

Pension: 8% employer contribution

Leave entitlement: 38 days leave, including bank holidays (pro rata)

What we’re looking for:

We are currently seeking a boys and young men’s project worker who can provide a positive role model for boys and young men who are trying to develop a positive sense of their masculinity. You will model appropriate male behaviour that promotes equality, diversity, and emotional literacy. Our ideal candidate would be a Youth Mental Health Practitioner or Youth Worker with extensive experience of delivering mental health and wellbeing interventions with boys and young men, preferably within a youth work framework, and has an in depth understanding of the issues, challenges, pressures and difficulties boys and young men experience. The ideal candidate will be a thoughtful and flexible practitioner who places young people and their welfare at the heart of their practice. You will be enthusiastic, dynamic, and creative and have a compassionate and authentic approach and a demonstratable track record of working with young people to support their mental health and wellbeing. In addition, you will demonstrate a commitment to equality and social justice and be a positive team player willing to share learning and good practice.
