RUBIC² Project Coordinator

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to work on our RUBIC² (Respect and Understanding; Building Inclusive Communities) Project, a partnership project between Chilypep, City of Sanctuary Sheffield, Who Is Your Neighbour? And Mediation Sheffield, funded by the Big Lottery reaching communities fund.

RUBIC² builds upon our previously Lottery funded RUBIC project and seeks to increase awareness and create a better understanding for individuals and communities of difference and looks to reduce the space which hostile and divisive narratives and perceptions create. Using a model of specialist interventions including safe space conversations, conflict resolution workshops and training, participation work with young people and opportunities for people to increase their understanding and knowledge of the refugee and asylum-seeking communities, RUBIC² is building upon three years of work in North Sheffield engaging communities of young people and adults in dialogue around cohesion issues, working with them to affect change in their own lives and that of the communities in which they live.

  • Salary:FTE NJC SO 2 Point 26: (£30,451.00) to SO 2 Point 28: (£32,234.00) as of 1st April 2020 (NJC Pay Award Pending) Pro Rata
  • Hours: 22.5 hours per week [FTE 37 hours]
  • Pension: 8% employer contribution
  • Annual Leave and Bank holiday entitlement: 38 days pro rata
  • Access to clinical supervision
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • End Date: 31st March 2024

My Mind My Life Project Worker

The Children and Young People’s Empowerment Project (Chilypep) is a registered charity that has worked with disadvantaged children and young people for over 18 years.
We are looking for a skilled and experienced project worker to join our team to deliver My Mind, My Life, a personal health budget project.
• Salary: NJC Scale Point 22 to Point 24: £27,041 to £28,672 pro rata
• Hours: 30 hours per week
• Pension: 8% employer contribution
• Annual Leave and Bank holiday entitlement: 38 days pro rata
• Access to clinical supervision
• Start Date: As soon as possible
• End Date: 31st March 2022 – possible extension year on year dependent on contract review
