Marie is now managing both our new provision in Barnsley for young people’s emotional health and wellbeing and the team working across Barnsley.

She has worked within the voluntary sector for many years in both arts and community development and has a background as a youth theatre practitioner. For 10 years Marie managed a community building on a housing estate in South West London which worked with and provided for the whole community including youth provision. This included a youth club, youth groups, workshops, and projects.

Marie is a qualified psychotherapist with a Post-Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Leeds Beckett University.

When not working Marie enjoys family time, dog walking (Orli the Cockerpoo) and working on her family’s lifelong venture of restoring her house!
