I am the Assistant Project Worker for Happy Group, a section of the RUBIC² project within Chilypep working with refugee, asylum seeking and newly arrived young people. The group aims to support these young people in creating friendships, building confidence, and integrating into local communities. Navigating the UK asylum system can be incredibly difficult and stressful, and I’m honoured to be a part of a project that offers emotional and social support to young people in South Yorkshire who are dealing with this.

I am really proud to be a part of an organisation that empowers young individuals to shape their own lives and I’m glad that I get to work with all the lovely people who help this happen!

In my spare time, I like to enjoy the small things in life! I take a lot of pleasure in trying to be more mindful and noticing the lovely things around us. I particularly enjoy spending time outdoors, being creative and connecting with friends.
