When we meet…
The group meet 5pm – 7pm every Monday at a city centre location, or over zoom during COVID-19. We work to come up with fun, innovative and exciting ways to get people talking about mental health and to STAMP out stigma!
What we’ve gained from being involved…
In order to campaign effectively and influence real change it is important that young people are equipped with the knowledge and understanding to accompany it. STAMP members have developed and made use of skills including designing and running consultations, event planning and delivery, delivering training to young people and staff, designing materials and so much more. They have also undertaken MHFA training, interview training, participation training, and peer mentor training. Because of the effort put in and the skills gained we have awarded 16 ASDANS under the categories of developing self, citizenship, raising aspirations in peer advocacy and leadership.
