What is the age range of the children and young people you work with?

Chilypep works with children and young people aged between 8 and 25 to find fun and creative ways of involving them in decisions that affect their lives. We run different groups and projects work with different age ranges and we often work in schools with different peer groups.

How can I get involved with Chilypep as a young person?

Chilypep is a participatory organisation that works to give young people a voice on issues that affect them, We have run a number of different projects on all issues that matter to young people including mental health campaigning, peer mentoring, community leaders and work with specific groups of young people such as young men and boys and newy arrived unaccompannied refugees and asylum seekers.

Do you offer counselling or support?

Chilypep is a charity that empowers young people and gives them a platform to make their voices heard. We are not a direct counselling service or crisis support.

Can I volunteer with Chilypep? 

Volunteers are a vital part of the work we do. The young people we work with and members of our groups all volunteer their time to be a part of Chilypep and support our shared aims to improve the lives of young people like themselves and others.

By volunteering with us as a young person you'll have the opportunity to meet new people and have fun, build confidence and learn new skills and make a lasting and postivie impact in the lives of other young people.

How can I book on to a training course?
